Thanksgiving 2017

This Thanksgiving was split into two days. On the Saturday before we hosted dinner for the first time ever at our house for Sarah's side of the family. Then, on T-Day we hosted for my side of the family. It was a contrast to say the least as her family was about 20-25 strong and mine was 6, including Elle. Both dinners were great, but I tell you what, I'm turkey'd out. Here are some pictures.

Saturday, November 18th

The rain is here. Now bring on the rest of the guests!
The table goes on, and on, and on...
Words to live by.
Bam! Look at all that food!
Some of the crew eating the food pictured above.
Duke waiting for a plate defector.
Our little turkey with her blurry excited motion face.
Elle and I taking a break in the kitchen.
La Familia.
Grandma Brenda taking over for a few minutes.
Sarah's Grandma and Grampa.
Aunt Andrea even came by!
And what would Thanksgiving be without a slight mishap. Baby down! (I'm embarrassed at how much I laughed at this...don't worry, she is fine!)
The turkey didn't stand a chance though...

Thursday, November 23rd (Thanksgiving)

Another feast!
Teresa came home!
To give me these kinds of looks...
With only formula to drink (and a few samplings of various sauces) someone got sleepy. I call these following pictures "The Stages of Tired"...this one is "The Blank Stare".
"The Head Bob".
"Stuffed Crab Attack".
And finally "Passed Out (Whilst The Crab is Still Attacking)".
Grandma and Grampa Davis. (Elle looks shocked!)
Sarah, Elle and I.
Plus Teresa. There is that smile!
Teresa hiding.
"Let me down!"
"Okay, maybe just one more."
This year's Thanksgiving is one to go down in the books. Traditions were forged. Turkeys were devoured. Every form of potato was mashed, and a baby was passed around. Some parts were hectic, but overall it was a great holiday.

Thanks for reading.
