Our Biggest Adventure Yet!

Last Saturday my wife revealed to me some very exciting news and now after finally telling all of our family and friends I will post it on here to live on forever (or at least until this blog site goes down).

Come next July there will be another family member to share in on our adventures. Sarah is pregnant with our first child and we couldn't be happier. Baby Davis is currently about 5 weeks along (so we do not know the sex of the child yet) and is about the size of a peppercorn. I will be sure to keep everyone apprised of the baby's progress in the upcoming months. So without further ado I present the photograph we used as an announcement to the world.

Here comes Baby Davis!

Thanks for reading, and prepare for another adventure!

Browns Game with Dad

The temperature was 30 degrees, the wind was gusting at 50 mph, and it was snowing. Do you know what that means? It is time for Cleveland football! I haven't been to a Browns game since I was 4 years old. It was at the old Municipal Stadium and if I am not mistaken it was cold then as well (maybe not quite as cold as today). But I could be wrong. I was only 4 after all.

Anyway, my dad scored some free tickets to the game yesterday and it was against the Pittsburgh Steelers, so of course we went. Here are some pictures from the game.

Decent sized crowd given how cold it was. Unfortunately it appeared as though it was equally Steelers fans. Sorry about the blur, I was moving.

Leaves, Leaves, Leaves... (3 Year Anniversary)

So, fun fact, today marks the 3 year anniversary of the blog. Woohoo! Thanks to those of you who have continued to read it throughout the years. I hope to continue it for many years to come.

Fall has officially arrived in Lorain County, and with all the great fall colors there also comes the falling of leaves. I never lived in an area with such large trees so this was somewhat of a shock to me. We moved into our home in January so we had yet to behold the amount of leaves that magically appear on the ground overnight during the fall season. Here are some pictures from around the house as I clean up the yard, and yes the ground was covered again the next day.

Duke being helpful as always in the backyard.

Halloween 2016

This year, much to Sarah's excitement (and my lament) we decided to have a Halloween Party for the first time in about 5 years. Anyone that knows me knows that I have social anxiety issues and do not like crowded spaces, but I promised Sarah that we would have a house warming party...and that didn't happen so here are some pictures from our much delayed 2nd Halloween Party. They may not be in exact order. If I left some people out I apologize. I did not take any pictures and tried to scavenge other peoples Facebook for photos.

Forrest Gump and Poison Ivy.
