Elizabeth's Final Sonogram

Today we got to see the final pictures of our baby before she enters the world, and guess what? She has hair already! Weighing it at about 6 lbs, she is about a month out now. Here are the pictures.

The top one partial shows her face. You can see her nose and mouth toward the center. The bottom is her arm. She was hiding today.

Ocean City (Part 4)

The next day we got up, showered, had our breakfast, and headed to the beach. Being the warmest day of our trip, it was finally time to swim in the ocean.

Ocean City (Part 3)

After our nap in our wonderful bed (cardboard with springs), it was time to party, and by party I mean eat and check out the arcade and stuff.

The sun was setting a bit.

Ocean City (Part 2)

After a good nights sleep in our extremely comfortable bed (heavy sarcasm) we got up and got dressed for our first day in Ocean City. Our light itinerary was in place, but first we had priorities.

Waffles....waffles are always a priority.

Ocean City (Part 1)

This is it. The last pre-baby trip. A Babymoon if you will. Sarah and I went to Ocean City, Maryland for our vacation this year. It was initially going to be Maine, but with Sarah's condition (pregnancy) she is unable to trek long distances on foot, so we decided to try something more appropriate. Ocean City is pretty much a long strip of beach in Maryland situated on the Atlantic Ocean. It has a large boardwalk and endless activities. The best part is that you can do things at your own pace and leisurely stroll around the area, something that both of us normally don't get to do on our trips.

We left the house around 9:30 a.m. after exchanging anniversary gifts (4 years, wahoo!) and began our long drive to Maryland. Our first stop was Pittsburgh to visit my sister Teresa and get lunch. She took us to this awesome meatball restaurant (yes, I said meatball restaurant) and then we went to get gourmet popcorn to keep our sugar levels up for the remainder of our trip.

Ready to go!

Emily's Graduation from Lorain High

I met my sister-in-law Emily when she was only 10 years old. Yesterday she graduated from high school. It was a long ceremony, delayed do to the threat of inclement weather, but the speeches were good and the payoff even better. Congratulations to Emily and the rest of her class. The future is bright!

Baby Shower for Elizabeth

On Sunday all of Sarah, Alyssa, and Andrea's planning finally came to fruition in the form of a baby shower. It was a fantastic day filled with family and friends all attending to welcome baby Elizabeth into the world. There were a few guys in attendance as well. My dad, Bill, Sarah's dad, Tom, Sarah's grandpa, Ray and of course yours truly. Here are some pictures from the day and the aftermath.
