10 Year High School Reunion

It's hard to believe it has been 10 years since we all last stepped foot in the halls of Firelands High School. For some of us it was a good part of life, and for others not so much, but I think we can all agree that we had friends there. Some of us still have those friends. Some of us hang out with people that they weren't friends with while in school, and some don't see each other at all.

We have moved on. But no matter how far away we move we will always share the same origin. The building pictured below is that spot. Our jumping off point ten years ago before moving into a much larger world.

We got together last night and it was as though it had never ended. We picked up right where we left off with tales of good times and bad. We laughed, ate, and drank and for a brief moment the echoes of those long forgotten hallways returned. It felt like home.

Thanksgiving 2017

This Thanksgiving was split into two days. On the Saturday before we hosted dinner for the first time ever at our house for Sarah's side of the family. Then, on T-Day we hosted for my side of the family. It was a contrast to say the least as her family was about 20-25 strong and mine was 6, including Elle. Both dinners were great, but I tell you what, I'm turkey'd out. Here are some pictures.

Lorain County Life's 4 Year Anniversary (Part 2)

And now the epic conclusion to the anniversary post...

Lorain County Life's 4 Year Anniversary (Part 1)

Today the blog is 4 years old. I honestly did not think I would be doing this for 4 years, but I enjoy it and I think I will continue for some time to come. Every year on Lorain County Life's Anniversary I post my favorite pictures from that year (except last year for some reason). This year I have a lot of favorite pictures (obviously) so I will try to control myself.

Let us begin.
