A December Lorain Ride

The temperatures today were in the mid 50's, which sounds cold, but when you live in Ohio and it is early December, this is considered a warm day. I enjoy riding in Lorain because even though it is only a shadow of the thriving industrial powerhouse it once was, it is filled with so much history and culture, some of it belonging to my family. Both of my parents grew up in the Lorain area and now I currently live on the Western edge of the city. Next Summer I plan on exploring more of the city by bike, but this ride was a shorter one due to time constraints.

Lakeview Park/Beach (Formerly owned by the city; now rented to the Metroparks)
Christmas decorations at Lakeview

Ramp down to the beach

Lake Erie

Chris' Restaurant (I used to come here with my Grandfather)

Light at the end of Beaver Creek Marina (Just North of my house)
