55 Degrees!

After temperatures hovering around the zero degree mark for months now it is nice to get some warmer weather. Today it was 55 and it felt like Summer! I pulled out the bike from behind the ladder in the garage, pumped air into the semi-flat tires and away I went.

My route today
There were not many good photo ops on the ride today due to all of the dirty melting snow and the mostly gray skies, but there was one that once edited came out pretty good I thought.

These are the same Norfolk and Southern tracks seen in my last post about the Lake Shore Electric Railway, just West

The cleared path ahead was once the LSE Railway featured in my last post...amazing how decrepit it looks now

Well, there ya have it. This will probably be the last ride for a bit. The temperature is supposed to drop back into the teens and we have about 6 more inches of snow coming Wednesday. Maybe another winter post will ensue, we will see.
