Betty and Luna Come Home

On Monday Sarah's scooter "Luna" was dropped of and yesterday my motorcycle "Betty" was retrieved (after a few hiccups). Last night Sarah and I went for our maiden run through the parking lot in front of Target to get a feel for our new wheels.

From left to right: Luna, Betty, and Violet the Pilot (mind the mess).
After about an hour in the parking lot I decided I was comfortable enough to take the bike up to highway speeds (55 mph) on Lake Road. It was a blast. Betty is so much more responsive than the bikes we used in class and I just feel more secure on her. Although still nervous as beginner riders we both decided to take the back roads to work today and ride our new bikes, besides the best way to learn something new is to just do it.

Needless to say we both made it to work without dying. So that's good.

Thanks for reading!
