Elyria in the Winter

Here are some pictures and a video of the City of Elyria that I took the other day while killing some time. Although much warmer (and windier) today, the climate was much different when these photographs were taken.

On Saturday we drove out to Fort Wayne, Indiana to pick up a new furry friend. It was about a 3 hour drive through the snow and I got a little car sick, but it was well worth it.

Melt Bar and Grilled

I know that this post may be a bit out of the norm form the blog, but I thought I could make it work. Sarah and I like to eat at a place in Lakewood called Melt Bar and Grilled. For those of you that are out of the Melt loop you can check out their "mission statement" here. We make it a point to make the trip into Lakewood a few times a year for their delicious grilled cheese concoctions. This time around Sarah turned to me as we were eating our Macaroni and Cheese Bites and said "You should do a blog post on this. See what the history of the building is." I of course agreed. It is a really cool old building. So I got to hunting the interwebs to see what I could come up with.
