Sir Duke McFlufferson

On Saturday we drove out to Fort Wayne, Indiana to pick up a new furry friend. It was about a 3 hour drive through the snow and I got a little car sick, but it was well worth it.

Duke McFlufferson Davis.
Duke is a Belgian Tervuren Shepherd. His former master passed away and Duke became really depressed, losing much of his fur and weight. He is still currently underweight, but most of his fur has returned. He is a gentle dog and is a great addition to our family. Duke and Minnie don't play together yet, but they get along just fine.

Minnie riding on the center console.
Home at last!
Duke is terrified of tile floors for some reason...
...but he's getting better.
Duke also enjoys playing in the snow....

...Minnie, not so much.
Duke also likes playing with skunks.

Quick! To the pet wash!
He did not have a fun morning...
...exactly.
So even though we had our little mishap, he is being a good dog and is fitting in really well. Hopefully he will soon conquer his fear of tile floors and be more wary of skunks, but until then....

Thanks for reading.

Oh, and he also likes to howl to establish dominance....or something like that.
