Christmas 2017

This year's Christmas was stretched across three days. On the 23rd my parents and sister came over while Sarah was at an ugly sweater part. Then later Sarah and I opened up our presents to each other. On the 24th we went over to my parent's house and had our Christmas with them. Finally on the 25th we got up, Elizabeth "opened" her presents and then we went over to Sarah's grandparent's house. Later that evening she went to her other grandma's house while I took a nap before work. As it is every year, it was a chaotic good, and I hope it will be for years to come. We didn't take any pictures of us opening presents on the 23rd, but I have a few of my parents coming over and of the ugly sweater party.

Elizabeth and Alexandria Visit Santa

On Thursday we took Elizabeth to see Santa and met Alyssa and Alexandria there. We went to Finwood Estate here in Elyria, which is where me and my sister always went as a kid.

A Quick Cleveland Adventure

Emily left her phone at our house last night, so we took advantage of the situation and made our way out to Cleveland for a quick meetup. While we were there we walked down to the candy store (I forgot the name) and Barrio for dinner...mmmmmm tacos.

Putting Up the Christmas Tree

After some delay we finally got (most of) the Christmas lights up, including the tree. Wednesday I put all the lights up on the outside of the house and the plan was to come back inside and put up the remainder of the lights, but that didn't happen. A project that I thought would only take about a half hour ended up taking 2 hours to complete and the indoor lights remained in boxes. Yesterday, after some struggle with Elle, we got the majority of the indoor lights up. Here are some pictures.
