Sleep, Baby, Work, Repeat
Sorry it has been so long since my last post. It seems like recently our days have been filled with a lot of down time. I guess if you call working and taking care of a teething 6 month old while trying to juggle some sort of a sleep schedule "down time". Anyway I hope to pick up the pace once again here soon. In the mean time, here are some pictures from the past month or so (they may be out of order).
Her first food!
Eating is tiring.
So big!
60% of the time she smiles, every time.
Duke, the protector.
Minnie, the napper. Minnie turned 10 on January 15th!
Minnie isn't the only napper around here. Sarah and I could use one too!
Speaking of Sarah.
Sarah and the child who doesn't sleep. (Sounds like a book)
A break from baby pictures. On my way home with Elizabeth I checked on the progress to LSE Car 38 in Avon Lake. It appears to be done! In case you don't know what I am talking about, here is my original post: http://loraincountylife.blogspot.com/2015/08/lse-freight-car-in-avon-lake.html
Snapped another picture facing the other direction. The Avon Lake Power Plant is still kickin'.
And now, Wonder Woman!
Happy 6 month old.
Big enough to finally play in her play pen...
...and to stand...
....and to drive! (Okay, maybe not the last one, but she sure loved sitting there.)
Elizabeth and Aunt Teresa.
Elizabeth in her new old stool/chair that was made by her Great Grandfather.
Happy baby once more.
Glow Worm Baby! (I found it on eBay. It's from 1993. The toy, not the baby.)
Sorry about the baby overload this time around, but as you can see she has been the recent focus of our attention and has had a couple of milestones recently. In the last month she began to eat "solid" food and can now pull herself up and sit/stand on her own (with the help of something to hold onto). I would like to tell you that next time around there will be less baby pictures, but come on, let's be realistic.
