A Cold Fall Weekend

This weekend was cold and wet. It seems as if we just skipped over Fall entirely and have arrived at Winter. On Friday we went camping with Sarah's side of the family at Findley State Park. It rained the entire time, but it was still fun. I took the dogs home that night and Sarah stayed with Emily and Elizabeth. The next day the high was only going to be in the 40's and Sarah and Emily decided to come home to regroup before going back out that night. On Sunday we celebrated Grandma Gerry's Birthday at Fiesta Cancun in Vermilion and after that we carved pumpkins at Greg and Andréa's house. Here are some pictures.

Our sole source of warmth.
Elizabeth didn't want her picture taken.
Duke just laid out in the rain despite multiple attempts to bring him under the shelter.
Elizabeth decided that this tent was now hers.
Red baby!!!
Elizabeth's new hat.
Happy Birthday Grandma Gerry!

We saved the seeds for roasting.
The final products from left to right: Elizabeth, Sarah, Me, Amy, Andréa, Greg, Elizabeth (Adult), and Travis.

Our new centerpiece.

Even though it was cold and wet, it was still a great weekend.
