Christmas 2018

This post is a little late due to computer access restrictions. This Christmas we spent Christmas Eve with my family and then had our Christmas the next morning. Later that morning we went to Sarah's Grandma's house for present opening and then later for dinner. We also stopped back at my parent's for a brief interlude before dinner.

Elizabeth's new stocking.
Our village this year.

Christmas Eve

Mom and Dad's tree.
The best picture we could get of Elizabeth with Santa. She was a bit unsure.

Teresa serving some Christmas Lasagna. A family tradition.
Mmmmmmmmmmmm.
Elizabeth was more interested in the bread.
Time to open presents!
Elizabeth cheesing from across the room.
A scary close up to prove I was there.
A bow on the butt. Another tradition.
Elizabeth and Teresa in Elizabeth's new house that Mom and Dad got her.

Christmas Day

Our tree.
Elizabeth's presents, including her BRAND NEW CAR!

As you can see in the above videos, she was not 100% sure what was going on, but as time went she came around to the idea of Christmas. Especially her car.

Her remote that she loves. A gift from a coworker. There is no off switch, which I believe was on purpose.
Sarah in her bunny onesie.

Sarah's Grandma's was a bit busier. Elizabeth was in her element.

And to finish off the day, a cookie.
Which she shared.
After a long day with a lot of stops we returned home. Elizabeth passed out and I took a nap. (This picture was actually taken a few days before because it was the only snow we had, but just let the magic of storytelling happen).

Until next year, Merry Christmas to all and to all a goodnight.

Thanks for reading.
