Part two the of the Lorain County Fair post will feature days two and three that I worked at the fair. Why? Because nothing occurred on day two at the fair.

It's too early for this...

Day two at the fair was very uneventful. I can't count the number of times I had to get up and walk around the office to stop myself from falling asleep. Besides the occasional lost person or lost item, there were no calls for emergency services. I did get a few pictures though. After work on day two of the fair my wife came up to walk around with me. It was really the first time I thoroughly walked the grounds this year. After eating a nutritious meal (potato twists, fried pickles, and fried peaches and cream) we went to view the Sheriff K-9 demonstration. They put on the demonstration every year to show the capabilities of the department's furry employees, and let me say I would hate to be on the receiving end of their skills. Once the demonstration was over we bought a new toy for our furry family member (since the one we got her at the fair last year now looks like an old rag) and made our way home.

Most exciting thing that happened all day while working. |

Day three at the fair was slightly more eventful. The day started out quiet and then things began going awry about half way through.

Today was senior citizen day at the fair. Anyone over the age of 65 could get in with free admission and this caused a few incidents, mainly people fainting from the heat and one lady that got lost from her nursing center group.

Ominous sky. |
There was also female that got thrown from a horse and broke her arm and a creepy old guy taking pictures of women whilst donning a plastic bag as a hat. Needless to say today was slightly more interesting than yesterday.
