Once a year my wife and I take a drive West along Route 6. We normally stop at the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Plant in Ottawa County and then turn around. It is a nice drive with some awesome views. We took this trip last night and it just so happened to fall on Main Street Vermilion's Third Thursday celebrations.
On every third Thursday of the Summer months the city of Vermilion hosts local bands and vendors downtown. All of the shops are open late and sometimes they even have a car show. Here are some pictures from the event.

Unfortunately due to it being dark out after this I did not get any pictures of the power plant, but we did go farther than we ever did before on our yearly trip, we made it all the way into Toledo before turning around.
Thanks for reading!
