[EXPLORE] Swerve Bike Shop

Last year I put over 1,000 miles of strain on my bicycle and toward the end of the season I started to feel a difference in the quality of my rides. I have been putting off taking the bike in to be serviced, but today I finally did.

Saying goodbye for a week.
I took my bike back to the bike shop I bought it from two seasons ago; Swerve Bike Shop in Oberlin. I returned to them for my tune up because of how pleased I was when I purchased my bicycle. They were happy to help me determine what kind of bike would fit my needs and seemed genuinely interested in my decision making.

So what does around 1,500 miles on a bicycle do to it? I already knew that I needed tires and brake pads, but I also need a new chain. Mine was all rusty (mainly due to my lack of oiling it). Their rate was very reasonable and I should have my bike back in about a week. So if you are looking for a new bicycle or work to be done on a bike that you already own, I am plugging Swerve Bike Shop. I have yet to have a bad experience and should have my bike back before riding season begins.

Swerve is located on Main St, just south of College St in downtown Oberlin.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for the beginning of riding season!
