[EXPLORE] Cincinnati (Part 1)

So as a surprise to my wife for our anniversary (since we couldn't do much on the actual day) I took her down to Cincinnati to explore the zoo and go on a dinner river cruise. It was a really good time despite the 4 hour drive home in severe weather. Here are a boatload of pictures from our adventure in the "Queen City". This will be broken up into two parts, because I took a lot of pictures.

The Cincinnati Zoo

The Cincinnati Zoo is the second oldest zoo in the United States and has a very unique design. Since it is so hilly in the city the zoo literally sits on top of itself and is situated in the middle of an urban neighborhood.

On the way down.
Elephants!
Asian Elephants
Baby giraffe.
Giraffe herd? Flock perhaps?
Penguin exhibit.
Tortoise attack! He walked right over my foot.
Young manatee.
Not-young manatee.
Peacock just wandering around.
Finally some reading material.
Stay tuned for Cincinnati  (Part 2).

Thanks for reading!
