Daylight and Heat Draw to a Close

One of the problems with working night shift is that by the time November comes around you rarely see sunlight. It's like living in Alaska. It also gets cold in Northeast Ohio around this time, especially when you live on one of the Great Lakes. So the last couple of days I have been savoring the light and the heat before it is all gone by riding my bicycle, one of my favorite past times (as you all are aware).

One of my favorite spots to end the ride (even though I'm not supposed to be there...).
Alas, the time of cold weather and darker days are quickly drawing upon us and pretty soon me and my other night shifters will live in a state of perpetual darkness. Sounds depressing, right? Don't worry. It only makes the springtime that much better when it shows its sunny face.

Thanks for reading.
