A Tale of Three Christmases

Christmas is always a little hectic. Trying to spend time with two sides of the family is hard enough on its own, but when you work night shift it is even harder to get to family functions (you know, because of sleep). This year was especially hard sleep wise, but I wouldn't have traded it for the world. We decided to split Christmas into three days so that we weren't so rushed. On the first day Sarah and I would have Christmas at our house. On Christmas Eve we spent time at my parent's house and on Christmas Day we went to her grandmother's. Here are some pictures from our three days of festivities.

December 23rd: Our House
Our newest ornament!

Minnie is ready!
Duke cuddling with the soldier my grandmother gave me.
Sarah giving the dogs their stockings.

Our stockings.

We are being watched....

Someone is already bored with us.

Sarah got me some old advertisements for the basement.

The joke tea set Sarah got before the real one. She saw right through me.

December 24th: My Parent's House
Time to go?

Teresa with Minnie.

The family.

Places are set. Every year my mom makes lasagna for Christmas. It is awesome.

The Brownhelm Township Santa delivering presents to the kids. They have done this for over one hundred years (obviously with different equipment).

After dinner snacks!

Time to open presents!

Duke clearly wasn't ready.

Mom.

Dad excited about his flash drive.

Mom and her Browns earrings.

Sarah talking to Duke while he ignores her.

December 25th: Sarah's Grandparent's House

Our niece Alexandria and my Father-in-Law.

More presents!

Our little present passer-outer (it's a real thing).

My Father-in-Law and his new hat.

Alexandria pointing herself out in our new picture.

No snow this year unfortunately.

I found the lucky pickle!

Sarah reading Alexandria her new book about big girl panties! Alexandria got some new books too!

Even though it was slightly chaotic and I got a total of about 7 hours of sleep between those days it was a blast and I would do it all over again. Next year we will have another family member to share the holidays with.

So from our ever growing family to yours, Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight!

Thanks for reading.
