After we checked out Pike Place Market we headed over to the Space Needle to see what everything looked like from above, and let me tell you, it was cool and it was cold!
Whoa.
We got our tickets and explored some of the attractions nearby while we waited to go up to the top.
All of the buildings in the area were part of the World's Fair and have now been renovated for other uses.
After we were done exploring we headed up the Space Needle.
Quite the view from the top, albeit a cold one.

Seattle is a strange combination of nature and man made creations. It felt different than any city I have ever been in.
Brrrrrr.
The Travis and Elizabeth I spoke of before. Our travel buddies!
We descended the tower and headed back to car. We had to ride back to the hotel to change for the rehearsal dinner for Aaron and Shanna's wedding, but due to a mishap with a door jam and some ripped pants we had to head to Kohl's first...yes it was me.
The rehearsal dinner went great (we were only slightly delayed). Afterward we went back to the hotel for an early night. Just kidding, we partied with our neighbors who just happened to be Aaron's parents and cousin, whom I have known since high school.
Aaron, Travis, Greg (our other friend) and I spent many nights at Aaron's house (he had a deep fryer) having LAN parties on our computers. For those of you who do not know what a LAN (local area network) party is I will explain. Back before internet gaming was popular you would take your entire computer to a friends house and plug them all in together to play against each other. Nerd heaven.
Anyway, I digress (as always). The next day Travis and I had to be at the hall early to help set up for the wedding. We grabbed a quick breakfast and headed on over. By the way, everything in the Seattle area is 30 minutes away.

The only day the sun had shown since we were there. I think that's good luck.
Groomsman cigars.
Instead of a cake they had donuts, and since I love donuts I thought it was a great idea!
Aaron, no offense, but you picked like the worst donut.
The ceremony went off without a hitch and after a brief cocktail hour it as time for the reception. I assume there are plenty of pictures of our gang looking ridiculous attempting to dance, but the photographer took those and since I don't have them (whew!) here are a couple from dinner.
The sun went down and the bride and groom took there leave, but there was still fun to be had. After we cleaned up and stole some donuts, we changed and checked out downtown Bellevue, which was located near our hotel.
We went to a bowling alley/bar/arcade called Lucky Strike and it was a blast!
See, I'm not lying.
Not sure what it going on in this picture.

Sarah watching her gutter ball.
Pure concentration.
After the bowling alley we went back to our hotel for the night. The next day we got up and prepared to leave Seattle and head back home to our respective Northeast Ohio cities.
Sarah coloring on the airplane.
We landed in Cleveland and took an Uber back to Travis and Elizabeth's apartment. Then they took us home.
Our trip had ended. I can't speak on behalf of everyone, but I had a lot of fun exploring the city and seeing one of my best friends get married. Congratulations to Aaron and Shanna, may you enjoy many years of happiness.
Thanks for reading!
