The Tiniest Heartbeat

Yesterday my wife had her first baby appointment. We were ushered into this small exam room with a big screen TV and a bunch of expensive looking equipment (all of which I wanted to play with) to see the first pictures of our child. Before we knew it the images were projected on the screen.

I can see the resemblance already.

After we got the first picture of our baby-in-progress we were able to hear the heartbeat, which was extremely cool (and fast). The baby's "heart" was beating at 138 bpm, so I can only assume that he or she is using the treadmill in the uterus gym.

Anyway, we left with some good information and a cool photo booth-esqe printout of all the different angles of our child. Exciting times!
