A Walk in the Park

Today Elizabeth and I took a small road trip to the Wellington Reservoir while Sarah hosted some sort of "sell fancy stuff" party. At first I did not know where to go, but then I remembered this Metro Park and thought it would be a good place to check out. Let me tell you though, going to a park with the trail next to the water at dusk in 85 degree heat is a bad idea. One word, bugs. But even with the constant buzzing of miscellaneous pesky insects we still had a nice time.

One of the few smiles I could get out of her. Fine, I will just have all the fun.
Let's go, dad!
It's been probably 8 or 9 years since I've been here. You can rent those paddle boats for free since it is a Metro Park. Pretty sweet deal!
Indifferent about the great outdoors.
"Are we done here?"
Nope! Let's go!
After walking about a mile and becoming completely drenched in sweat (did I mention that I was out of shape) we were finally ready to leave.
Think about how many bugs are in there...
Thanks for reading.
