Staycation 2018 (Part 2)
And now the conclusion to our 2018 staycation!
Wednesday
On Wednesday we went to Huntington Beach.
Obviously Elizabeth loves to swing.
And eat over sized pizza.
She then went on a Tour de Ice Cream.
Oooh, caboose.
We ended the night with a fire.
Thursday
On Thursday we spent the day with Sarah's parents at our house since it was raining. We played games and ate tacos. It was a great time, but unfortunately we were so wrapped up in it that I didn't get any pictures.
Friday
The Zoo!!!
Elizabeth struck out on her own and headed first to the elephant enclosure...
...but then she got distracted by the smaller creatures.
Captivated.
But there was more sizable creatures to get to.
Wave at the elephants!
Her shoes kept falling off so it was stroller time.
Gimme gimme gimme. (It was the Asian Lantern Festival)
Not quite a baby giraffe yet.
Sarah said these owls were like our family, and I'm the hipster one apparently.
Each one of these had the Chinese Zodiac on them.
Elizabeth was getting restless in the stroller and her shoes kept falling off, so it was time for a ride.
On the way out we got a couple more pictures of the family.
We look like smurfs!
The zoo was fun, but it was time to go home and for Elizabeth to head to bed.
Alexandria spent the night and we watched Coco together.
Saturday
On Saturday we attended Andrea's brother Justin and Gen's wedding.
Table 5!
There was a lot of dancing.
Ooooh, smokin'!
The wedding was at Michaud's and was a blast. (I think they need another light)
Sunday
On Sunday I slept in to try to get back to my normal sleeping pattern for work and Sarah went to the Flats in Cleveland with Elizabeth for an arts festival.
Too much partying the night before.
Stop growing!
And thus our vacation was over and the reality of going back to work was setting in. Hopefully we will get another one soon, but until then...
