Put-in-Bay 2018

In what seems to be a new tradition, we decided to go to Put-In-Bay again for Mom's Birthday, and this time Teresa brought her boyfriend Mark along for the trip. Elizabeth started out a little rough, but eventually came around, and even though it was a little chilly in the morning the day turned out great.

To the ferry!
Taking in that fresh lake air.
We got our golf cart (an 8 seater for the first time) and off we went.
Our first stop was the Perry Monument. It was free national park day so we figured we might as well check it out.
The view of downtown from the top.
Elizabeth did not want to be held so she did laps around the top.
Teresa and Mark!
We went to the beach next and Mom and Elizabeth enjoyed some popcorn.
I took this picture while in the Perry Museum.
Elizabeth also got this sweet badge in there.
Mom and Dad at our next stop, the Heineman Winery.
Teresa and Mark.
My family. Elizabeth was eating a cracker.
Two very different bottles.
We then went downtown.
Elizabeth and Aunt Teresa playing around.
Then we found the big playground!

But since it was the end of the season the last ferry left at 7, so we had to return to the mainland.
That power plant in the background is in Michigan.
On the way home we stopped by the Main Street Beach in Vermilion.
Fall has officially arrived.

Happy Birthday, Mom!

Thanks for reading.
